[51029] Huldah may have been from Kentucky as was Archibald. There were no Sanfords listed in Scioto County, Ohio in the 1830 census but there were three families just across the river in Mason County Kentucky.

The marriage with Huldah may have been a marriage that did not work out. While they were married in 1829, Archibald was listed by himself at Franklin Furnace, Scioto Co., OH in the 1830 census. Huldah is listed by herself with her original name in the 1840 census.
