!SCHOOL:
Florence, had a real struggle getting her high school education as she had to
miss scool while helping to care for her ailing mother. She graduated in 1906.
!SCHOOL TEACHER:
Florence, taught school for a year or two at Lockport, Ohio.
!VISITED MONTANA:
Florence visited in Montana, then she
taught school at Dillon for several years and attended and graduated from
Normal School. Later, Florence was teaching school in Missoula and was
Supervisor of the first grades in that city, when she quit to marry Jim Clark.
!COURTSHIP:
Forence and Jim's courtship had been an on and off again thing for many years,
but they were united in marriage at Helena, 22 Oct 1927. She was one of a
family of five children and the only one to live in Montana.
